Medication Administration Training

Non-Licensed School Personnel Last Updated: 7/8/2021 3:50 PM

All school personnel that administer medications to students must annually review the Medication Administration Training Manual for Non-Licensed School Personnel, print and sign the "Certificate of Completion" and present that certificate to your school nurse.  The school nurse will then administer a competency exam and certify you to administer medications to students.  Make sure to complete the study guide at the end of the training as the competency exam will be very similar.  You must pass the exam with an 85%.  Please click HERE to access the manual. Do not access before July 1st for the 2019-20 school year.  Contact Sarah Roberts at 606-679-1123 or your school nurse if you have questions.

Please watch the below video and then complete the quiz.

Medication administration quiz can be found HERE if in the district or HERE if outside the district.  You must login to Google/Chrome with your district email to access the quiz.
