SMS Service Project

Southern Middle School collected items to fill bags for our local hospital, Lake Cumberland Regional. This was a display of support for our hospital employees that are continuing to work tirelessly during this pandemic.  Items to fill the bags were donated from each grade level. Beta members from the 7th Grade Blue Team packed over 300 “Goodie Bags” filled with drinks, fruit, crackers and granola bars with notes of encouragement attached.

PES Appreciation for Health Care Workers

Pulaski Elementary fifth grade students worked to collect non-perishable food items  to help all of the hospital workers to have a treat to provide strength and to remind them that they are appreciated and loved.  Pictured are Mr. Josh Wheeler, Ms. Sharon Young, accepting baskets on behalf of LCRH, Mrs. Cindy Dick, Mrs. Cassi Coffey, and Mrs. Jennifer Moody.  PES 5th grade teachers with Ms. Sharon Young and food baskets.

PCHS Community Project

The PCHS Volleyball Team, with coach McKenzie McCollum, put together 72 goody bags to be handed out to health care workers and staff at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  The team wanted to take this on as a community project to show their appreciation for the hard work and tireless hours spent during this pandemic and it was truly a success.
